The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation will presented “Bruce Forman meets the SLO Jazz All-Stars” on Saturday April 22nd at 7:30 pm at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in SLO. The internationally acclaimed guitar master performed with Inga Swearingen (vocals), Dave Becker (woodwinds), Dylan Johnson (bass) and Darrell Voss (drums).
Bruce Forman is widely regarded as one of the top jazz guitarists in the world today. He has appeared at the Monterey Jazz Festival over 20 times. In addition to a hectic touring schedule, 18 recordings as a leader and countless sideman recordings, Bruce has played on the soundtracks of three Clint Eastwood movies, including the Academy Award-winning “Million Dollar Baby”. He is also an acclaimed educator at the University of Southern California as well as a novelist. He is both immensely talented on guitar and a gifted humorist.
