The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation presents master jazz guitarist Bruce Forman, in a solo and a trio setting, on Saturday May 12 at 7:30 pm at Unity Concert Hall in SLO. Forman is widely considered to be one of the foremost jazz guitarists in the world today. He will present his highly acclaimed “The Red Guitar”, a jazz libretto and a perspective into the life of a musician and the creative process. With great musical virtuosity and storytelling skills, Forman’s presentation becomes a history of jazz guitar but much more. Forman will also perform in a trio setting with Dylan Johnson on bass and Darrell Voss on drums. Unity is located at 1130 Orcutt Road in SLO. Doors will open at 7 pm for the 7:30 concert.
