The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation presented the New York City based Ben Rosenblum Trioin concert on Saturday night, January 19 at the Unity Concert Hall (1130 Orcutt Rd./SLO). Ben, a graduate of the Columbia University-Julliard program, is a young and innovative pianist who possesses both immense technique and musicality in his playing. He has toured extensively in Japan, Canada and the USA. Drummer Ben Zweig and bassist Kanoa Mendenhall fill out the trio.
The jazz accordion of Ben Rosenblum with Tennessee Waltz was a special treat Saturday night.
