The SLO County Jazz Federation proudly presents the piano wizardry of Carl “Sonny” Leyland at the Unity Concert Hall (Johnson at Southwood in SLO) on Friday, December 13th, at 7:30 pm. Sonny is a member of the Boogie-Woogie Hall of Fame as well as the host of KCBX’s “Rhythm Retrospective.” His wide range of piano styles include boogie-woogie, blues, barrelhouse, and much, much more.
This is an encore performance for Mr. Leyland. While possessing a national and international reputation, Mr. Leyland dazzled the audience with his virtuosity and originality at the Jazz Federation’s Piano Showcase concert earlier this year
Admission at the door is only $20 General, $15 for Jazz Fed members, and $10 for students.
