The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation was pleased to present the New York City based Tyler Blanton Quartet on Saturday, May 11 at the Unity Concert Hall (1130 Orcutt Road/ SLO ). The concert started at 7:30pm with doors opening at 7:00pm.
Over the past decade, vibraphonist Tyler Blanton has garnered acclaim as a rising star on the N.Y. jazz scene. Known for his distinctly lyrical and nuanced sound, Blanton has been praised as the heir to Gary Burton and Bobby Hutcherson. Tyler’s outstanding quartet features Glenn Zaleski on piano, Aidan Carroll on bass and Christian Euman on drums.
